2 groups of photo based images exploring relationships between the roots of large urban tree roots and their surrounding concrete environments. The first group: in conversation is a suite of 12 photographs with hand set letterpress text printed onto the photographs. The sentence on each print - we hold each other, you and i - is conjugated in the 12 main tenses found in English. The second group of works are digital photo collages mounted on wood panels.
